Gardaí to question Meath bus crash driver today

25/05/2005 - 07:20:48
Gardaí are hoping to question the driver of the bus involved in Monday's tragedy in Co Meath later today.

Detectives hope the driver can shed some light on what caused the bus to overturn at Casey's Cross near Kentstown, killing five teenage schoolgirls.

The drivers of the two other vehicles involved in the incident, as well as students who were on board the bus, are also expected to be interviewed in the coming days.

Seven students and one adult remain in hospital following the crash.

Funeral services for four of the five victims are due to take place tomorrow, while the fifth will be laid to rest on Friday.
