Stamp hand news raises hopes for Wexford

Wexford manager Seamus Murphy has been given a boost by the news that defender Darren Stamp's hand injury, picked up in a recent challenge game, is not as bad as first feared.

The Oulart-the-Ballagh club man picked up the injury during a challenge game against Clare last weekend.

However, X-rays have revealed that nothing is broken, so Stamp will be available for selection Wexford's opening defence of their Leinster crown against Dublin or Laois on June 12.
