BoI warns customers to beware of fraudulent email scam

Bank of Ireland has warned its customers to beware of a fraudulent email designed to steal their internet banking details.

The bank said the email asked recipients to enter personal banking information on a site that looks similar to its 365-online service.

It said it never requests customer information in such a manner and anyone who receives the email should ignore it and contact Bank of Ireland.
