McCauls blame block voting for Eurovision outcome
20/05/2005 - 07:28:55Eurovision hopefuls Donna and Joseph McCaul today blamed the practice of block voting for denying them a chance to represent Ireland in the final.
The brother-and-sister team, speaking to RTE radio today from Ukraine said that if the system of block-voting continued, Ireland would never again qualify.
Siblings Donna and Joseph McCaul, from Athlone, were among 25 acts hoping to progress from the semi-final last night.
However, their performance of the song 'Love?' was not included in the top 10 chosen by European viewers, who all go through to Saturday night's final.
