Retail sales volumes up 4.6%
20/05/2005 - 11:48:29The volume of retail sales increased by 4.6% in March 2005 compared to March 2004. There was a monthly decrease of 1.2%.
If the motor trade is excluded, the annual increase was 3.9% and the monthly change was -0.9%.
The value of retail sales increased by 5.6% in March 2005 compared to March 2004 and decreased by 1.4% in the month. However, if the motor trade is excluded, the annual increase was 4.3% and the monthly change was -0.9%.
