ISEQ gains continue today
The ISEQ has enjoyed a fourth day of consecutive gains, climbing 16.38 to close up 16.30 today.
Banking shares were mixed. Bank of Ireland shares closed 2c higher to €12.40 but Allied Irish Bank shares slipped 10c to €16.50.
Anglo Irish Bank shares climbed 13c to €9.65. Irish Life & Permanent climbed 10c to €13.62.
Elsewhere Budget airline edged 6c higher to €6.18 today. Ryanair today slammed the Government's decision that the second terminal planned for Dublin Airport should remain in public ownership.
Irish energy group Viridian fell 30c to €10.70 today. Viridian announced a 15% jump in annual profits earlier this week.
Shares in Irish agribusiness giant Kerry surged 53c today to close at €20.05.
Shares in hotel chain Jury's Doyle Group - which has been the subject of takeover speculation - were on the rise again, climbing 30c to €15.40.
The most traded shares today were Anglo Irish Bank, AIB, Kingpan, Independent News & Media and Bank of Ireland.
