ISEQ falls slightly
19/05/2005 - 11:02:38The ISEQ index dropped 2.47 points to 6139.89 this morning.
Eircom was up 3c (1.6%) at €1.89 at 10.30am. Independent News & Media was also up 3c (1.3%) at €2.36.
Anglo Irish Bank was the morning’s busiest share, and performed the best of the financials. Its price rose 11c (1.2%) to €9.63.
Irish Life & Permanent was up 8c at €13.60. Bank of Ireland dropped 7c to €12.81, while AIB was unchanged at €16.60.
Ryanair gained 2c to €6.14. The airline this morning slammed the Government's decision that the second terminal planned for Dublin Airport should remain in public ownership.
Construction company Kingspan was unchanged at €8.85, despite heavy trading.
