'Home-from-home' facility benefits St Luke's cancer patients
18/05/2005 - 11:20:30More than 700 cancer patients are expected to benefit from a new facility opened at Dublin's St Luke's Hospital today.
A section of the hospital has been extended under a €1.2m investment aimed at providing a "home from home" atmosphere for cancer patients.
At present thousands of patients are travelling from all over Ireland to receive treatment at the facility.
