Eight priests to be ordained this year
18/05/2005 - 15:46:37Just eight priests will be ordained in Ireland this year, providing further evidence of the decline of the Catholic Church in this country.
The priests will all come from the country's only seminary, Saint Patrick's College in Maynooth.
It compares with rising numbers of new seminarians in eastern European countries.
