Bright future for Day of Darkness
18/05/2005 - 08:36:26Irish heavy metal festival the Day of Darkness Metalfest will take place at Pedigree Corner outside the Co Laois village of Ballylinan on Saturday July 9.
Now in its fourth year the festival will bring together bands from Ireland’s thriving domestic metal scene with a number of their international peers.
The festival draws its inspiration from events such as the Wacken and Dynamo metal festivals on the continent. The first ever Day of Darkness was held at Pedigree Corner in the summer of 2002.
Tickets for the event are priced at €30 and are available online from www.dayofdarkness.com or selected agents nationwide.
