Bellamy missing for Hoops

29/04/2005 - 14:19:12
Celtic manager Martin O’Neill will be without Craig Bellamy for their Bank of Scotland Premier League game against Hibernian.

The on-loan Newcastle striker has been ruled out for up to three weeks with a hamstring strain he suffered against Rangers last weekend.

Joos Valgaeren (ankle) and Ulrik Laursen (leg) have both trained this week but the visit of Hibs may be too soon for them.

O’Neill has “one or two other problems” ahead of the game but refused to be drawn on the injury doubts.

PROVISIONAL SQUAD: Marshall, Agathe, Balde, Varga, McNamara, Petrov, Sutton, Lennon, Thompson, Beattie, Hartson, Douglas, Henchoz, Lambert, Maloney, McGeady, Wallace, Fernandez.
