Truck driver tied up during Dublin cigarette robbery
29/04/2005 - 07:31:24Gardaí in Dublin are searching for an armed gang that stole €120,000 worth of cigarettes from a truck in the city yesterday morning.
The truck driver was held at gunpoint and tied up while the four-man gang loaded the cigarettes into a van at Barnlodge, off Ballycoolin Road.
He eventually managed to free himself around 12 hours later and alerted the Gardaí shortly before 8.30pm last night.
