Lampard wins fans' award
28/04/2005 - 12:54:50Frank Lampard was today named Professional Footballers’ Association Fans’ Player of the Year for 2005.
The 26-year-old received the award after on-line voting by fans.
Preston midfielder Paul McKenna scooped the Coca-Cola Championship award, while Keith Southern of Blackpool and Southend’s Adam Barrett were voted the top players in League One and Two respectively.
