SFA predicts workforce to reach two million landmark

The Small Firms Association has predicted two million people will be at work in Ireland by the end of the year - the highest number in the history of the State.

The SFA said a survey it conducted indicated 2005 would be a boom year for job creation.

It predicted 61,000 new jobs would be created this year, up from 36,000 in 2004 and the highest number since 2000.
