Sky Bet extend Cheveley Park deal
26/04/2005 - 14:01:45Sky Bet have extended their sponsorship of the Group One Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket for another two years.
The six-furlong event has been backed by Sky Bet for the last two years and they will continue their association with the £170,000 race until 2006.
This year’s renewal, on September 29, will be the first juvenile Group One race of the season in Britain.
Lisa Hancock, managing director of Newmarket, said: “We are delighted that Sky Bet have renewed their sponsorship contract for another two years.
“The real benefits of sponsorship start to accrue through a long-term association with a race and, in the Cheveley Park Stakes, Sky Bet have a very valuable, historic contest that invariably attracts a field of the highest class.”
