Bone experts helping to identify Royal Canal body

26/04/2005 - 07:24:20
Gardaí have reportedly drafted in bone experts from the North in an effort to identify the headless body found in Dublin's Royal Canal earlier this month.

The body, which gardaí say was that of a tall, black man aged between 20 and 30, was found close to Ballybough Bridge last month.

He had been stabbed in the chest

Reports this morning said gardaí are working on the assumption that the murder was a "voodoo killing" and believe the perpetrator was also responsible for the murder of Paiche Onyemachi.

Ms Onyemachi's headless body was found in Co Kilkenny last year.
