Students spend €80m on alcohol
25/04/2005 - 15:23:51A study of third level students' lifestyle has found students spend about €80m on alcohol during the college year.
The College Lifestyle national study also reveals that three out of four drinking occasions were binge-drinking sessions.
Dr Anne Hope, an advisor to the national Alcohol Policy Unit, has said the level of students binge drinking is a major cause of concern.
