Men plead not guilty to murder of Vietnamese man
25/04/2005 - 11:53:24Two Dublin men have pleaded not guilty to the murder of a Vietnamese man and to causing harm to a Chinese man in August 2002, at the Central Criminal Court today.
James Harmer (aged 27) of the Abbey Hostel, Bachelor’s Walk, Dublin, and Noel O’Flaherty (aged 34) of McCormack Gardens, Sutton, Co Dublin, have pleaded not guilty to the murder of Mr Ly Minh Luong (aged 50), at Fownes Street, Temple Bar, Dublin on August 19, 2002.
The two men have also pleaded not guilty to causing harm to a Chinese man, Dong Wei (aged 36), on August 16, 2002.
A jury of three women and nine men was sworn in.
The trial is expected to begin today.
