24/04/2005 - 13:10:11
Lomana LuaLua scored twice as Portsmouth fans taunted former manager Harry Redknapp and then saw their side rip Southampton’s flimsy defence apart in a stunning first half display.

Antti Niemi’s crashing second-minute foul on LuaLua did not even bring a yellow card for the Finland goalkeeper but Yakubu brilliantly chipped home the spot kick to unleash a burst a of goals.

Arjan de Zeeuw headed home a free kick for 2-0 before Henri Camara, a late replacement for the injured Peter Crouch, pulled one back.

LuaLua shot into an empty net on 21 minutes after luring Niemi from his goal with a breakaway dash and then fired in off a post five minutes later before being replaced by Diomansy Kamara with not even a half-hour gone.
