Two arrested after assault in Limerick
24/04/2005 - 15:00:57Gardai today arrested two 23-year old men in connection with a serious assault on a man in Limerick city centre.
The men were being questioned at Henry Street Garda Station about the assault, which took place after a row broke out in a pub on John Street at around 1am this morning.
The 30-year-old victim was brought to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
A Garda spokesman said both men were being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
