We must beat Celtic, says Ferguson
Rangers midfielder Barry Ferguson believes anything less than a win against Celtic on Sunday will spell the end of their title hopes.
Celtic head into the final Old Firm game of the season defending a two-point lead at the top of the Bank of Scotland Premier League table.
Despite there being another four games still to play after this weekend, Ferguson fears even a point at Ibrox on Sunday will not be enough to see Rangers crowned Scottish champions.
He told the Scottish Sun: “I hear all this stuff about if it is a draw it is still wide open. But in my gut I don‘t believe it.
“In the pit of my stomach I feel that we have to win it – simple as that. We have made mistakes and given away a lead but we are still only two behind and have Celtic at our place.
“Beat them and we are top with four games left.”
