High-flying Candystripes look to end Hoops dreams

Derry City face Shamrock Rovers at the Brandywell tonight looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

The Candystripes have not even conceded a goal this term and manager Stephen Kenny is likely to field an unchanged side despite the return from injury of Eamon Doherty and Kevin Deery.

Mark Rutherford has recovered from a thigh problem and returns to the Shamrock Rovers squad.

Willo McDonagh and Jason McGuinness are suffering with ‘flu but should be available.
