Bohemians earned their first win of the season in this battle of the bottom two at Dalymount Park.
The only goal of the game came on 34 minutes when a mistake by Sean McGowan gave away possession to Fergal Harkin.
Harkin's cross reached Tony Grant whose shot was deflected into his own net by defender Jonathan Minnock.
Harps' night of woe continued on 78 minutes when striker Kevin McHugh was sent off for a second yellow card.
