Bank of Ireland workers to ballot on industrial action
22/04/2005 - 16:50:19Industrial action at Bank of Ireland group has moved a step closer this afternoon.
Delegates at the Irish Bank Officials Associations (IBOA) conference in Dublin have voted in favour of requesting their executive to organise a national ballot.
Larry Broderick of the IBOA has said 2,100 job losses from a bank that made €1.3bn profit last year does not make sense.
