Hoops to stay at Dalymount until season's end

Shamrock Rovers have confirmed they will play their remaining home games of the season at Dalymount Park.

At last week’s Examinership hearing, Justice Peter Kelly requested that the club find a suitable long-term home because he believed the current habit of moving ground every season was not helping the financial stability of the club.

Morton Stadium in Santry was the suggested venue and the club and Fingal County Council, the stadium’s owners, said talks were ongoing.

However, Rovers have insisted that they will honour their contract with Bohemians to rent Dalymount Park for the rest of this season.
