No problems for Folkestone
18/04/2005 - 12:01:59Folkestone do not anticipate any problems ahead of tomorrow’s meeting despite the heavy rain which has hit the country in the past 24 hours.
Conditions at the Kent track are described as soft, heavy in places but the weather forecast is favourable.
Clerk of the course Chris Stickels said: “We don’t expect any problems and there is only light rain forecast between now and the start of racing tomorrow.”
Tomorrow’s meeting at Newcastle was abandoned due to waterlogging following an inspection earlier today.
