Doherty facing tough job to stay in Championship

Ken Doherty is facing a tough job to stay in the World Snooker Championship tonight as he trails England's Barry Pinches.

Doherty, the 1997 champion, trails 5-3, taking the vital eighth frame to leave himself just two frames behind going into tonight's conclusion.

Doherty has struggled for form all season despite a semi-final placing in the recent China Open.
