Shels move top after victory

Wes Hoolahan blitzed Saints as champions Shels moved to the top of the table.
Gary O’Neill, in for the injured Glen Crowe, fired Shels in front on 31 minutes after Hoolahan split the defence to put skipper Owen Heary in to cross.
Saints levelled five minutes later when Keith Dunne rounded Steve Williams to slide home after a mistake by Dave Rogers.
But Hoolahan restored Shels’ lead on 45 minutes – blasting home after Jason Byrne and Richie Baker set him up.
Hoolahan then dinked a delgihtful ball through for Stuart Byrne to add the third goal on 69 minutes.
Shels were livid with Saints’ Robbie Doyle on 76 minutes in an incident that saw Shels defender Colin Hawkins sent off.
