Martin reveals clue to album cover
15/04/2005 - 09:15:34Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has given a series of clues to fans hoping to work out the puzzle on the front cover of the band's new album X&Y.
The Clocks group release their third album in June and baffled fans last week when they released the artwork - a collection of colour-coded blocks.
Martin says he wants to represent the band's music using "maths and geometrical principles".
Designer Mark Tappilin explains: "Chris just wanted something unique and bespoke. The band gave us continual feedback, even down to the exact shade of blue used."
