Forged Springsteen tickets on sale on eBay
15/04/2005 - 15:47:09Ticketmaster has issued a warning about fake Bruce Springsteen tickets.
All 6,000 tickets for his solo show at the Point in May sold out within hours of going on sale on Thursday.
However, shortly afterwards tickets were being offered for sale on the internet for vastly inflated prices.
Ticketmaster said today that the seat numbers on some of the tickets for sale on eBay are not correct, which means they are forgeries.
The company is advising people not to buy from unauthorised sources.
