New security checks causing delays at Dublin Airport

Passengers at Dublin Airport are continuing to experience significant delays today due to the introduction of more stringent security checks.

The new checks were brought in following an EU inspection earlier this week during which a replica bomb and knives were smuggled past security personnel.

The Dublin Airport Authority has published ads in today's national papers asking people to check in 90 minutes before departure.
