Kidnapped American appears on video
13/04/2005 - 14:26:14A video of an American, kidnapped in Iraq two days ago, was shown on Al-Jazeera satellite television today.
The tape showed a man sitting behind a wooden desk as three men pointed their guns at him. He was holding what looked like a passport and a photo identification.
The US embassy in Iraq announced the kidnapping of an American yesterday. The unidentified man was a contract worker and was abducted on Monday, a spokesman said.
