Gardaí continue quizzing four in pub shooting probe

12/04/2005 - 08:49:00
Gardaí in Dublin are continuing to question four men this morning in connection with the murder of 42-year-old James Curran at a pub in the city earlier this month.

Mr Curran, a champion kick-boxer, died after being shot in the head in the Green Lizard pub on Francis Street on April 3.

Gardaí believe the shooting was related to a personal dispute. The men in custody today are in their late 30s and early 40s and were arrested yesterday.

Another man and a woman were also arrested in connection with the murder earlier this month, but both were later released without charge.
