Beyonce auditions for Supreme film challenge
12/04/2005 - 12:00:39Beyonce Knowles has auditioned for a new movie which is based on a Broadway tribute to Diana Ross and the Supremes.
Reports claim the Destiny's Child singer is in talks to star in the movie titled 'Dreamgirls'. It will be filmed by Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks production company.
The movie will feature a cast of mainly unknowns and filming is scheduled to begin in the autumn.
The story was a musical hit on Broadway in the early 80s.
Beyonce has previously appeared in Austin Powers: Goldmember and The Fighting Temptations and will be seen in the upcoming Pink Panther movie with Steve Martin and Kevin Kline.
