Dessie Dolan to have knee surgery
07/04/2005 - 08:07:00Leinster football champions Westmeath have been dealt a blow ahead of the defence of their crown with the news that attacker Dessie Dolan has to have surgery on a knee injury.
Dolan was one of a small number of players who performed well during the Lake County's disastrous league campaign, which culminated in them being relegated from the top flight.
The All Star is set to go under the knife this week.
