Harte angered by Croker decision
05/04/2005 - 07:34:02Tyrone boss Mickey Harte is angry that his side could yet again be denied the opportunity to play in Croke Park.
Harte hit out at last year's decision not to play the matches at headquarters, and fears the same fate will befall his team this year.
The reseeding of the playing surface means his wish is likely to be denied this year.
Tyrone face Wexford in the league semi-final on April 17, with Navan and Portlaoise being mooted as possible venues.
Harte said: "We were hoping for Croke Park but hear work is being done on the pitch. The players will be disappointed but that is what I have been told. Apparently there is plastic on the surface to help the ground situation."
The venues for the semi-finals are set to be announced tomorrow.
