Pope's funeral may postpone Charles' wedding
04/04/2005 - 11:40:40The marriage of Britain's Prince of Wales to Camilla Parker Bowles could be postponed if it clashes with the Pope’s funeral.
Senior aides at Clarence House and Buckingham Palace were unable to comment on reports that the Pontiff’s funeral on Friday might mean the Prince may wish to attend the funeral along with other British VIPs, including Tony Blair.
Clarence House, the Prince’s London headquarters, said: “The wedding is still scheduled to take place on Friday but we remain sensitive to events that are happening elsewhere around the world and are continuing to assess the situation.”
