Hunter denies divorce demands report
Rachel Hunter has slammed reports she is desperate to snatch a massive portion of her estranged husband Rod Stewart's fortune in their imminent divorce settlement.
Last month, newspaper reports claimed Hunter was so angry about Stewart's engagement to girlfriend Penny Lancaster, she was planning to get revenge in the divorce courts by securing over $66.5m (€51.7m) of her husband's earnings.
But the New Zealand model insists there is no substance to the stories - claiming she was only initially alarmed for the sake of her children.
Hunter, 35, says: "I'm dealing with it. It's just so strange for me that it all happened as soon as I came to the UK. I wish I had been warned before it became public, for the sake of the children.
"The timing could have been better. I wished I had been in LA because (my children) need me in times like this. I was slightly concerned that this happened and both of their parents weren't with them."
