ISEQ slips in early trading

The ISEQ has slipped 7.22 in morning trading today to stand at 6,022.01, as oil prices hit record highs today.

Allied Irish Bank shares are unchanged so far at €16.08. Bank of Ireland shares have slipped 10c to €12.45.

Anglo-Irish Bank shares have gained 10c to €19.35. Irish Life & Permanent shares are unchanged at €13.75.

Elsewhere the record price of crude oil set today appears to have hit Ryanair shares as jet fuel also increases. Ryanair shares slipped 15c to €5.93 today.

Building and construction shares are mixed today. CRH shares have fallen 13c to €20.10 today but Kingspan shares have climbed 14c to €9.39.

Dragon Oil, which today announced profits up 79%, has seen its share price fall 11c to €1.59.

Elan shares have crept up 5c to €2.75.

The most traded shares are Kingspan, Grafton, Bank of Ireland, Ryanair and DCC.
