Donegal, Westmeath, Limerick and Sligo relegated

03/04/2005 - 19:17:18
Donegal and Westmeath have been relegated from Division 1A of the Allianz National Football League, whilst Limerick and Sligo have been relegated from Division 1B.

Kerry lost their grip on the Allianz NFL title despite their defeat of Tyrone this afternoon in Killarney.

By virtue of more points scored (8-98 (122 points) as against Kerry's 10-87 (117)), Mayo, 3-16 to 1-08 victors over relegated Westmeath today, will face Armagh in the Division One semi-finals later this month.

Both Kerry and Mayo had finished level on ten league points apiece, after their fifth wins of the seven-match campaign.

Although beaten by Kerry and also finishing ten league points, Tyrone top the Division 1A table with a +21 points difference. Mickey Harte's side will line out against Wexford in the league's final four.
