Cruz wants to do English language comedy
03/04/2005 - 16:33:10Spanish beauty Penelope Cruz has appealed to Hollywood bosses to cast her in a comedy - because she has yet to be given an opportunity to prove her comedic talents.
Cruz has worked in a number of funny movies in her native Spain - including Jamon Jamon - and is determined to make her mark in American comedies.
She says: "I want to do more comedy in English, because I've done a lot in Spain, and I love it and I know I can do it. But I haven't had the opportunity to do it in English yet.
"I love films like Meet The Parents, I like that sort of humour."
