Denis Behan scored for the third match running to lift Cork City to the top of the table overnight.
The young striker got a toe to a Liam Kearney free-kick in the last minute of the first half to direct the ball past Town keeper Stephen O’Brien.
Shane Barrett brought a good stop from City keeper Michael Devine in the second half, but the visitors held on to complete a good week and leave Town with no points after two games.
