Portuguese fishing vessel detained off Mayo coast
31/03/2005 - 08:45:34The Irish Naval Service has detained a Portuguese trawler on suspicion of breaching fishing regulations.
The Ihla Brava was intercepted by the Le Eithne around 195 miles off the coast of north Mayo last night.
The vessel is being escorted to Galway, where it will be inspected by officials from the Department of the Marine.
