Council reverses exclusion of Falls Road from marathon route
31/03/2005 - 11:53:43Belfast City Council has reversed a decision to exclude west Belfast from the route of this year's marathon on May 2.
The decision follows objections from Sinn Féin and the SDLP, who were opposed to the exclusion of the Falls Road from the route.
The Falls Road had been excluded as part of efforts to attract more international runners by making the route more level.
