Cats win Dublin clash with ease

The Cats demolished Dublin in this one-sided National Hurling League Division 1A encounter at Parnell Park today.
Kilkenny’s 1-11 to 0-7 half-time lead suggests Dublin were in with a shout. But the visitors were always in control as Eoin McCormack goaled in each half.
Dublin did make a bright start to the second half and three points from Emmet Carroll hinted at a comeback from the home side. But Kilkenny then steamed ahead to win with ease.
Earlier, Galway held off a spirited Laois team to run-out 2-17 to 2-13 winners in the other Division 1A game.
