Rovers: Feeney likely to get first start

25/03/2005 - 07:55:56
Shamrock Rovers’ manager Roddy Collins is likely to give a first start to striker Lee Feeney against title favourites Shelbourne at Dalymount Park tonight.

The Northern Irish striker was Rovers’ hero as a substitute against Bohemians last week and is likely to start in attack alongside Trevor Molloy.

Meanwhile, Shelbourne will have Colin Hawkins available. The defender was substituted after 45 minutes in Shels’ 3-3 clash with Portadown on Tuesday but has recovered from an ankle injury and is likely to start.

Elsewhere, Bobby Ryan, Glen Fitzpatrick and Wes Hoolahan are likely to be rested while Jim Crawford and David Crawley are likely to return after being suspended for last week’s clash with UCD.
