ISEQ makes steady start to week
21/03/2005 - 17:47:45The ISEQ index of shares made a steady start to the week, losing just 1.5 points to close at 6095.43.
Construction stocks have been mixed today as a study by the ESRI and the mortgage firm IIB Homeloans showed consumer confidence in the property market is high.
CRH shares are 4c higher at €20.61 today while Grafton shares shed 4c to €9.35. Kingspan shares closed 5c higher at €9.74.
Meanwhile, pharmaceutical group Elan made a modest 10c gain to €5.60.
Trinith Biotech shares remained unchanged at €2.03 as it announced that it has completed the acquisition of Research Diagnostics Inc of Flanders, New Jersey.
