Celtic striker Craig Bellamy produced two clinical finishes either side of a Jim McIntyre equaliser to put the champions on course for the top of the Bank of Scotland Premier League.
The new hero of Celtic Park, who inspired them to a victory at Inverness Caledonian Thistle in midweek, put the visitors ahead with a stunning right-foot finish.
McIntyre gave bottom club United – who this week sacked Ian McCall – some hope with the leveller before Bellamy blasted home with an even better strike with his left foot.
