Arsenal field weakened team
19/03/2005 - 12:04:52The lunchtime kick-off between the Premiership’s highest and lowest scorers did not look so clear cut once the teams were revealed, with Arsenal missing Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Robert Pires.
Cesc Fabregas replaced Bergkamp while Ashley Cole came in for Pires leaving Arsenal looking short of a goal threat.
Blackburn had Paul Dickov back for this dress rehearsal for next month’s FA Cup semi-final and looking to maintain a string of good results which have seen them move clear of relegation danger.
