Injury crisis for Villa
18/03/2005 - 10:02:21Aston Villa are without Juan Pablo Angel, on-loan Carlton Cole, Mark Delaney and Eric Djemba-Djemba for Sunday’s Barclays Premiership derby at Birmingham.
Colombian international striker Angel damaged his ankle in training earlier this month.
Cole has returned to Chelsea with a knee injury and looks unlikely to play again this season.
Defender Mark Delaney continues to be sidelined by the knee injury he picked up against Manchester United in January and Cameroon international midfielder Djemba-Djemba is facing a battle to play again this season after suffering a hamstring injury during a training session.
